This Privacy Policy describes how MatterBaby – Feeding, Diapers & Sleep ("MatterBaby", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use the App, you may provide information such as:

• Baby information: name, birth date, gender.
• Tracking data: feeding logs, diaper changes, sleep sessions, growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference), milestones.

This information is intended to help you track and manage your child’s routine.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide your own name, email address, or other direct contact details inside the App, except if you choose to contact us via email.

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information through third-party services, primarily for advertising and crash reporting (if enabled), including:

• Device information (model, OS version, language, country).
• App usage information (screens viewed, session duration).
• Advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA), only if you grant tracking permission.

This information may be collected by our advertising partner Google AdMob and any analytics/crash reporting tools we integrate.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features of the App, including tracking feedings, diapers, sleep, growth, and milestones.
• To store your data locally on your device, so you can view and manage your baby’s history.
• To display ads in the free version of the App using Google AdMob.
• To improve the App, diagnose technical issues, and understand general usage patterns (if analytics/crash reporting is enabled).
• To respond to support requests when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage and Retention

• Baby and tracking data are stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate a user account system or maintain a central server database with your baby’s data.
• Advertising/analytics partners may store usage data on their own servers according to their own retention policies.

You can delete your locally stored data at any time by deleting the app from your device. Data managed by third-party services (e.g., AdMob) may still be retained according to their policies.

4. Advertising and Tracking

We use Google AdMob to display ads in the free version of the App.

• On iOS 14 and later, we use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request permission before allowing tracking.
• You may choose to Allow or Ask App Not to Track.
• If you decline tracking, AdMob may still show ads, but they should be less personalized.

Our App includes the system permission string:
“This app uses ads to support free features.”

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use directly by children.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
• Any information about your baby is provided by you as the parent or guardian.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Your Choices and Controls

• Tracking permissions: Manage in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• App settings: Adjust preferences within the App.
• Delete data: Delete the app to remove locally stored data.
• Ads: Upgrading to Premium removes ads on that device.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, including:

• Google AdMob (for advertisements)

8. International Data Transfers

Third-party services (such as AdMob) may process data on servers located in other countries. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own.

We take reasonable measures to help protect your information:

• Your baby’s tracking data is stored locally on your device.
• We rely on platform-level security provided by iOS and the App Store.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
• Make the revised policy available in the App and/or on our website.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
